As more and more people become interested in sustainable living and eating healthy, organic gardening has become increasingly popular. Visiting organic gardens can be a great way to learn more about how organic produce is grown and harvested, as well as to gain inspiration for your own gardening projects.
In this article, we will explore the benefits of visiting organic gardens, what to expect when you go, and some tips for getting the most out of your visit.
Veo Valley Organic Garden
Yeo Valley Organic Garden is open to visitors and hosts a number of events throughout the year. The garden has six and a half acres of ornamental and edible plants in a seasonal patchwork to explore.
No visit to the garden would be complete without a cup of tea and slice of cake, or even a spot of light lunch. There’s a terrace for sunny days and a wood burner inside for when its more chilly!
Depending on the time of year, you can also see the Tea Crabapple tree avenue in blossom, the Meadow, the Gravel Garden and lots more!
2023 opening days are most Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from mid April until the end of October. Entry tickets will need to be pre-booked.
Upcoming events are Yeo Valley Organic Garden Workshops 2023 and Garden Masterclass Season 2023. Find out more here.
