We have prepared a small but powerful selection of great books for children which can inspire them, and our first book from the list is a book from the wonderful Kate Pankhurst!

"Fantastically Great Women Who Made History"

British author and illustrator Kate Pankhurst works from her studio in Leeds, where she makes her children's books. Kate won second place in the 2002 Macmillan Prize for Picture Book Illustration. In addition to working as an illustrator, Kate also works with teachers and children to share and inspire a love for reading the stories of notable women.

Her series of books called "Fantastically Great Women Who Made History" can be a great read for your kids!

"365 Penguins"

365 Penguins is a 2006 children's book by Jean-Luc Fromental and illustrated by Joelle Jolivet, which tells the story of a family who receive a penguin each day for a year. It was a Boston Globe-Horn Book Honor Award winner.
