Spring is the perfect opportunity to experiment with organic growing.

Creating your own vibrant organic space, in a chemical-free way, allows you to be kinder to the environment and to the wildlife.

Encourage bees and butterflies into your garden by planting for pollinating insects. Interestingly, insects can be the organic grower’s best friend, as they will help manage pests and keep your garden healthy.

There are also advantages to creating a diverse site, so your vegetables, herbs and flowers grow amongst each other rather than separate zones. Planting this way will see more of the soil covered, resulting in less need for watering and weeding - reducing your overall workload. Not only that but a diverse site will allow you to create a visually stunning organic space.

Find out more and increase your gardening confidence in the friendly ‘how to’ video presented by ethical vitamin company Viridian Nutrition and national charity Garden Organic.

Filmed at Garden Organic’s headquarters in Warwickshire, this film shows the completed redeveloped organic demonstration garden carefully nurtured by the charity’s gardening team. This tranquil space which also serves as an outdoor learning area is sponsored by Viridian and contains many therapeutic plants, reflecting some of the organic ingredients in Viridian’s supplement range.
